Seaton Sluice
There is no formally recognised Residents Association in Seaton Sluice that is supported by Blyth Valley Housing. Please read on though to find out what work has gone on recently.
In 2004, an "Options Study" was undertaken by Blyth Valley Housing and independent consultants which resulted in a series of newsletters, a door to door survey and several public meetings for residents of the following streets:
Albert Road, Elwin Close, Elwin Place, Millfield, Millfield Court, Ochiltree Court, Old Hartley Square, Southward, Queens Road and Taylor Gardens.
The Options Study was funded by the Government's Tenant Empowerment Grant Programme and offered the opportunity for residents to find out more about setting up a Residents Association and becoming more involved in the management of their homes. During the consultation, residents agreed that regular informal meetings would be a good idea giving them the opportunity to meet with officers from Blyth Valley Housing.
